Mary Ann Hopkins, MD

Dr. Mary Ann Hopkins joined MSF in 1996 when she provided surgical care to civilians in Sri Lanka. Since then she has joined surgical teams in Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Chad. Dr. Hopkins is an attending surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at New York University Medical Center, where she is also the Director of Education in the Clinical Sciences.
